The WABE SIG, Washington State OCDE Project GLAD Trainer's Network welcomes active and certified OCDE Project GLAD trainers to come and learn how this SIG is working cohesively and collaboratively to advance their work as trainers and ultimately increase the academic outcomes of ELs. As many trainers know, providing tier I training is only the first step of many in supporting colleagues through the process of intentional and responsive implementation of GLAD strategies. The trainer's SIG serves as a way for trainers across our state to learn from one another, calibrate their skills and knowledge and discover ways in which they can increase their impact on student learning and language acquisition. Our breakout session will get everyone up to speed on where we started, how far we've come and where we are headed.
