Sponsored by Estrellita: Participants will gain an overview on how to teach Spanish reading to students in Pre-Kinder to 1st grade using the Estrellita program. Estrellita is a complementary, research-based, accelerated Spanish reading program. An overview of all Estrellita programs will include K-1, Pre-Kinder and Games and Activities components. Participants will learn the Estrellita chant and how to teach Sonidos Iniciales as well as a new methodology to teach blending for an accelerated jump into Spanish reading.
